As the year comes to a close and a new journey begins, we welcome you back home to Connexion – a celebration of music, community, creativity, and unity.

After the pure magic and musical bliss of our previous gathering, we are beyond excited to return for the 9th edition of Connexion. Each year, this experience grows stronger, bringing together beautiful souls, world-class artists, and passionate music lovers from across South Africa and around the globe. Seeing our family grow year after year fills us with gratitude and inspires us to keep creating something truly special.

From the very beginning, Connexion has been about exactly that – connection. Connecting people, cultures, sounds, dancefloors, and communities. We have always aimed to unite the South African outdoor music scene by showcasing artists from all corners of the country alongside incredible international talent, and this year will be no different.

From the 30th of December 2026 to the 2nd of January 2027, we return to our beautiful home at The Oaks Hotel in Byrne Valley, KZN, for four unforgettable days and nights under the stars.

This year we once again bring you two unique dancefloor experiences:

The Psychedelic Floor – dedicated entirely to underground psychedelic bliss from start to finish, delivering deep journeys, hypnotic rhythms, and mind-expanding soundscapes.

The Vaaibez Floor – a space of nonstop underground variety across the four days, featuring diverse genres, uplifting energy, and grooves for every moment of the festival experience.

Beyond the music, Connexion offers spaces to reconnect with yourself and others. The Zen Zone will feature yoga sessions, massages, and opportunities to recharge mind, body, and spirit. For the creatives and curious souls, our interactive arts and crafts area invites expression, collaboration, and imagination throughout the weekend.

Connexion is more than a festival – it is a shared experience, a family reunion, and a collective celebration of freedom, music, art, and togetherness as we step into a brand new year.

We cannot wait to dance, connect, and welcome 2027 with all of you.

The Zen Zone & The Create Space
Located by the pool and perfect for those sunny summer days, our much-loved Zen Zone and Create Space are vibrant hubs of wellness, creativity, and connection.
In the Zen Zone, take part in a variety of uplifting workshops including yoga, cacao ceremonies, and inspiring talks all designed to help you feel grounded, open, and recharged.
Right alongside, the Create Space invites you to play, explore, and express yourself through hands-on art and craft workshops, collaborative projects, and spontaneous fun. Whether you’re painting, crafting, or just lounging on bean bags and cushions in our shaded tent, it’s the perfect place to connect with others or simply unwind.

These spaces have become a favourite feature of Connexion, offering a colourful, welcoming atmosphere where you can chill, create, and celebrate the joy of being alive.

Accommodation:

Camping is included in your festival ticket.
There is an assortment of accommodation options available with the Oaks Hotel. The accommodation rates vary on room type but are from R200 pppn – R450 p.p.p.n. Please book directly with the hotel 033 212 2324 / reservations@oaksatbyrne.co.za.
